Local high schoolers will get dental screenings, mentoring into health careers, and community education led by promotoras, all aimed at keeping more homegrown dentists and providers serving El Paso and West Texas.

El Paso launches 'Hour of AI' to inspire young tech creators (cbs4local.com) — Families in El Paso can look forward to monthly “Hour of AI” workshops at La Nube starting in 2026, giving kids hands-on experience with coding and artificial intelligence through Minecraft. In partnership with Microsoft TechSpark and EPISD, the program aims to help local students, parents, and teachers explore responsible AI, computational thinking, and creative problem-solving together.

5. Las Crucen Arthur J. Crothers reported missing (kvia.com) — Police are asking El Paso and Santa Teresa residents to help find 68-year-old Arthur J. Crothers, who disappeared after leaving a healthcare facility sometime between November 15 and December 1. He was last believed to be in either Santa Teresa or El Paso and has not been seen by family in weeks. Anyone with information is urged to call Las Cruces police at (575) 526-0750.
