1 Killed, 4 Injured In Shooting Outside Houston Sports Bar: Police

HOUSTON, TX — One person was killed and multiple others were injured early Saturday morning in a shooting outside a Houston sports bar, according to police.

Police were called to Al's Sports Bar on 16203 Westheimer Road just before 1 a.m. for a report of a fight, Sgt. Dennis Wolfford said at a news conference.

According to police, a fight that started inside the bar had spilled out to the parking lot. At one point, several people pulled out guns and fired multiple shots, authorities said.

When officers arrived, they discovered four people with injuries, Wolfford said. A fifth person was pronounced dead at the scene.

The four injured victims are all in stable condition, according to Wolfford.

Police said they believe they've identified everyone who fired shots, according to Wolfford. Meanwhile, authorities are reviewing video footage and interviewing witnesses to determine what happened.
