2 Teens Killed In Triple Shooting In Pasadena: Police

A 16-year-old was killed Sunday night in a shooting near Beltway 8, and a 17-year-old died later at a hospital.

PASADENA, TX — Two teens were killed in a triple shooting Sunday night in the parking lot of an apartment complex in Pasadena, a spokesperson from the Pasadena Police Department confirmed to Patch.

The shooting occurred around 10 p.m. at 3823 Red Bluff Road and resulted from an altercation involving three Hispanic teens in the parking lot near the leasing office, police said. The complex is located just outside Beltway 8.

Police found the body of a 16-year-old boy in a car in the parking lot. Two other boys, ages 15 and 17, were flown to Memorial Hermann Hospital with gunshot wounds. The 17-year-old, who shot in the face, later died of his injuries, according to police. The 15-year-old boy suffered a gunshot wound to his abdomen and is still hospitalized.

The surviving victim told police the shooting began with an argument in the parking lot. Police recovered two handguns at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are reviewing evidence collected at the crime scene and possible surveillance video, according to police.
