7-Year-Old Boy Killed In Shooting In Texas Home: Police
A silver sedan drove by and fired shots into the Cloverleaf home, hitting the child in the chest. The boy later died in a hospital.
CLOVERLEAF, TX — A 7-year-old boy was shot and killed in his home in the Houston suburb of Cloverleaf late Sunday night, according to police.
A silver sedan drove by the home located on the 13800 block of McNair Street around 10:45 p.m. and fired multiple shots into the home. The boy's bedroom was close to the front of the house, and he was struck in the chest, Sergeant Jason Brown of the Harris County Sheriff's Office said. The boy later died at a hospital.
The boy's mother and two brothers also were at the house but were not injured, Brown said.

Authorities have not named a suspect, and a motive is not currently known, Brown said.
