All Houston-Area Harmony Public Schools Named Among Top K–8 Schools in Texas

Harmony's commitment to STEM education and student success earns statewide recognition from U.S. News & World Report.

HOUSTON, Texas — Harmony Public Schools has once again earned high marks for academic excellence, as U.S. News & World Report has named every elementary and middle school in its Houston-area districts among the Top K–8 Schools in Texas.

The recognition is part of U.S. News & World Report’s annual ranking of America’s best public schools, which evaluates performance in areas such as student achievement, college readiness, and equity.

The following Harmony campuses earned distinction and were each ranked #1 in their respective ZIP codes:

The rankings considered multiple data points, including college readiness (30%), math and reading proficiency (20%), math and reading performance (20%), underserved student performance (10%), and curriculum breadth (10%).

Harmony’s Houston district serves more than 30 campuses across six cities—Houston, Sugar Land, Katy, Cypress, Spring, and Bryan—offering a PreK–12 education that emphasizes STEM learning, character development, project-based instruction, and college preparation.

The results reflect a continued tradition of academic excellence across the Harmony network, which boasts a 98% high school graduation rate and a 100% college acceptance rate for seniors.
