Best Wings In Houston for National Chicken Wing Day
Texans and Houstonians can cook up this dish as good as any, and here are the best in the Bayou City

HOUSTON, TX — Chicken wings have come a long way since the tasty dish first became popular in Buffalo, New York, in 1964. Exactly 40 years ago (July 29, 1977), the city of Buffalo proclaimed it to be National Chicken Wing Day. Here in Houston, it's hard to go somewhere and not find a good dish of chicken wings.
They started off as fried wings and drumsticks that were then coated in a cayenne pepper-based sauce and served with celery and beer. Wings have evolved to a variety of flavors, and restaurants have opened specializing in wings.
We scoured yelp.com, a website where visitors rate businesses based on their own personal opinions, a we found the top 10 wing restaurants in Houston.
