Katy, TX – Big Blue Swim School, one of the nation’s fastest-growing swim school franchises, announces the opening of its 50th location nationwide on Monday, October 13, in Katy. Katy will also mark Big Blue Swim School’s second location in the Houston area, owned by Big Blue Franchise Partner, Cheston Syma.

Big Blue Swim School was founded in 2009 by competitive swimmer Chris DeJong to provide a measurable curriculum for students to learn an essential life skill in a comfortable and fun environment. Opening Details:

To celebrate the grand opening, Big Blue Katy will host a Family Fun Day event, where guests can get a first look at the new, state-of-the-art swim school on October 24 from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm. The event is free and open to the public, featuring a costume contest, bounce house, face painting, grilling burgers and hot dogs, and other fun activities.
