Billy Joel Coming To Houston For Concert At Minute Maid Park

HOUSTON, TX — Legendary musician Billy Joel will make his Minute Maid Park debut next year as the Houston Astros announced Thursday he will perform in concert Sept. 23, 2022.

Tickets for the show go on sale at 10 a.m. Nov. 12 at LiveNation.com, and American Express Card Members can purchase tickets before the general public from 10 a.m. Monday through 10 p.m. Thursday.

“Billy Joel is one of the biggest concert draws in the world, selling out arenas and stadiums across the globe,” Astros Vice President of Event Sales and Operations Stephanie Stegall said in a news release. “We’re thrilled he will be making his first-ever appearance at our ballpark. ... This will be a show for the ages and one of the biggest nights ever at Minute Maid Park.”

The six-time Grammy-winning artist's top hits include "Piano Man," "Uptown Girl," "The Longest Time" and "We Didn't Start The Fire."
