Suspect Who Shot 3 Officers Dies From Self-Inflicted Wound
Daniel Trevino, 25, who was wanted for shooting 3 officers serving an arrest warrant at his home, took his own life.

HARRIS COUNTY, TX — A man who shot a Harris County Sheriff's deputy and two officers from the Texas Attorney General's Office Fugitive Apprehension Unit has died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said.
Daniel Trevino, 25, barricaded himself in a house not far from where he shot a Harris County Sheriffs deputy and two Texas AG officers who came to arrest him at about 1 p.m. Tuesday,
Police were serving an arrest warrat on Trevino at 5013 Hartwick, near U.S. 59 in northeast Harris County.

Harris County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy Edison Toquica said when the officers went into the home, a firefight erupted between Trevino and the officers, police said.
One of the deputies and two of the officers from the Texas AG's office were slightly wounded in the shooting. All three were taken to Ben Taub Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, officials said.

Police said Trevino was out on bond on an assault family violence charge for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend and pointing a gun at her.
Trevino also allegedly violated a protective order from the Harris County Attorney's Office earlier this month. The no-contact order was a condition of his release from jail.
Trevino ran and hid in a home nearby, and have dispatched the SWAT team. Four Aldine ISD school campuses nearby were placed on lock down.
