1. Central Market is celebrating Women's History Month by hosting a series of virtual cooking school classes featuring the stories and recipes of notable female chefs and makers. Chefs include Pati Jinich, Chef Dawn Burrell, Alex Snodgrass, and more. (CultureMap Houston)
2. Ashley Biden, the daughter of President Joe Biden, was spotted at a Houston bar over the weekend. Notsuoh in Houston's owner, Jim Pirtle, received a shock when Ashely Biden arrived there. It is one of the oldest bars along Main. (CW 39)
3. Harris County election officials said they will meet the deadline to count Primary Election ballots, despite a statement from the Texas Secretary of State on Tuesday evening saying otherwise. The Harris County Director of Voting called Secretary of State John Scott's statement that Harris County would not meet the deadline a "completely unnecessary ... negative attempt to make Harris County look bad." 4. Top Chef: Houston premieres tonight, March 3 at 7 p.m. CST and chef Evelyn García says she's excited to watch what goes down in the Bravo reality TV cooking competition's 19th season. Garcia plans to stop by Saint Arnold Brewing Company's official Top Chef watch party before viewing the first episode at home with her parents and siblings. (Eater Houston)
5. The Breakfast Klub has replaced a mural of George Floyd with the "Black Mount Rushmore" mural by artist Reginald Adams. It features Marcus Garvey, Carter W. Woodson, Booker T. Washington and W.E.B Du Bois. The restaurant recently was one of the highest-ranked Black-owned restaurants on Yelp. (Houston Chronicle)

- Houston SPCA's cruelty investigators and Office of Constable Alan Rosen, Harris County Constable Precinct 1 were able to seize two boxers after video showed their owner whipping them with a belt and them being tightly restrained. Both dogs are now safe at the Houston SPCA and will be under veterinary care. (Facebook)
