Houston Astros Cleared Of Cheating Allegation By MLB
Major League Baseball officials addressed the cheating allegations made against the Houston Astros in a Tweet.

HOUSTON, TX -- Major League Baseball has cleared the Houston Astros of cheating during the allegations were made by two teams the Astros have faced in the postseason. Officials with the Cleveland Indians and the Boston Red Sox alleged that an Astros employee filming into the team dugouts.
The Astros employee was caught in a credentialed area recording video during game three of the ALDS at Cleveland's Progressive Field, and again during game one of the ALCS against the Boston Red Sox.
Officials from both teams alleged that the Astros were stealing their signs from the dugout in order to gain an advantage. However, Astros officials said they were filming to make sure none of the teams were stealing their signs from the Astros dugout.

The accusations conjured reminders of the Spygate scandal in 2007 when the NFL’s New England Patriots were caught videotaping signals from the New York Jets’ defensive coaches during a game. In that case, the NFL levied a $500,000 fine against New England Head Coach Bill Belichick.
