Contable Seeks Donations For 31 Families Left Homeless By Fire
A weekend apartment fire that left 31 families homeless has prompted action by Constable Alan Rosen's office

HOUSTON, TX — An apartment fire on Houston's north side left 31 families homeless on Saturday afternoon.
The fire started at about 2:30 p.m. at Northline Point Apartment complex in the 7000 block of Northline Drive.
Officials said the fire began because one of the residents decided to light a barbecue pit inside their apartment.

Ultimately, 115 people were left with no place to live.
The American Red Cross placed all families in a shelter at 1023 Pinemont Drive for the night on Saturday, but it's not known if they had a place to stay on Sunday.

The tremendous loss by these families prompted the Harris County Pct.1 Constable's Office to step up and help.
Constable Alan Rosen's office is asking for donations for :
- New, unused clothing
- Toiletries
- Diapers
- Undergarments
- Hygiene products
- Socks
- Shoes
- Bed linens
All items can be taken and dropped off at the at the Northline Point Apartments leasing office, located at 7313 Northline from 9 am to 5:30 pm.
