Credit Card Skimmers Found At Tomball Valero Station

Two men were caught on video leaving the Valero gas station after installing credit card skimmers on gas pumps, police said.

TOMBALL, TX — Police in Tomball are looking for two men they say were installing credit car skimmers on two gas pumps at a Valero Station on Tomball Parkway. The Tomball Police Department released the photos of the suspects pickup from the gas station as they were leaving the parking lot.

Video from the store captured two men placing the credit card skimmers inside several pumps at Valero on Tomball Parkway, before driving away. Police removed the skimming devices from the pumps.

Credit card skimmers, which are installed inside the gas pumps or over the credit card readers on pumps or banking machines are used to steal credit and debit card information.

Officials recommend using pumps closest to the front door, or going inside to pay before pumping.

Police are looking for a dark colored two-toned F-250 or larger pickup with a white tool box in the bed of the pickup. The photos also showed damage the rear passenger side fender.
