Lanes Cleared Of Downed Power Lines On US 59 At Bissonnet Street
A car crash downed power lines across all lanes on US Highway 59, blocking all northbound and southbound lanes at Bissonnet earlier Friday.
HOUSTON, TX — Traffic was moving normally again on US Highway 59 at Bissonnet Street in southwest Houston Friday afternoon.
Houston TranStar showed normal traffic conditions at 2:30 p.m. Friday, over an hour after a crash downed power lines across the highway.
The downed power lines had previously blocked all traffic on northbound and southbound lanes of US Highway 59 at Bissonnet Street, according to a tweet from the Houston Police Department.

Authorities did not provide injury details on the crash.
