Eagle's Trace Offers a Personalized Approach to Discovering Its Vibrant Lifestyle
Bobbi and Rick Feiertag's time as Priority List members and the Live the Life program helped them make a decision to move to Eagle's Trace

Rick and Bobbi Feiertag had just finished building a new house in Conroe, Tex., when they realized they wanted something different for retirement.
"Even though we had a nice house with a pool on a lake, we realized it wasn't the right fit for us," Bobbi recalls. "We started investigating senior living communities, thinking about what was important to us. We didn't want a place with just one dining room and one bistro."
With lots of questions and ideas about their next chapter in life, they were happy to discover answers--and a vibrant lifestyle--at Eagle's Trace, an Erickson Senior Living community in West Houston, Tex.

"From one-on-one appointments to informational group events and tours, there are lots of ways for prospective residents to explore Eagle's Trace," says Sales Director Jon David. "And oftentimes, these experiences change the way they think about senior living. When prospective residents visit and see our amenities, they recognize that our community is quite special."

That's exactly what happened with Rick and Bobbi. "Once we saw that Eagle's Trace had seven dining rooms and pickleball, that did it for us!" says Bobbi.
See for yourself
Those interested in learning more about Eagle's Trace can schedule a personal appointment with a sales team member or attend an introductory event.
"Scheduling an appointment allows us to offer insight into pricing and answer any questions you have," explains David. "When someone comes in for the first time, we're not trying to sell them on Eagle's Trace. Our goal is simply to offer all the information they need."
He continues, "Attending an event--like a luncheon, for example--is a great opportunity to tour the community, learn more about our lifestyle, and mingle with current residents. Plus, you enjoy a friendly lunch."
Rick and Bobbi's first step was making an appointment with the sales team. Impressed with everything they learned, the couple was eager to explore the community further, so they joined the Priority List.
In addition to saving their spot in line for a residence, Priority List members receive invitations to exclusive events, have the chance to stay overnight on campus, and gain access to planning and moving support.
"Joining the Priority List offers more access to the community," notes David. "Members can visit when they want, have lunch, attend happy hour, or grab dinner on their own schedule. It's like a VIP ticket to Eagle's Trace."
Live the Life
But what Rick and Bobbi were most excited about was Live the Life--an exclusive program that allows Priority List members to stay overnight in a furnished guest suite, utilize amenities, join club meetings, dine at on-campus restaurants, and chat with current residents.
They booked a two-night stay in a "really nice" two-bedroom, two-bath suite, complete with complimentary meal vouchers. And since their daughter lives nearby in Houston, they invited her to join them for dinner.
"My daughter and I both ordered the filet mignon," Bobbi recalls. "That night, and every single time we have ordered it since then, it has always been fabulous. We have never been disappointed!"
This overnight stay sealed the deal for the couple, as they made the move to Eagle's Trace in September 2024.
"We chose the Pedernales floor plan--a two-bedroom, two-bath home. We have a dining table that seats eight," says Bobbi, who uses their second bedroom as her art studio. "We also have a small balcony overlooking a lovely, quiet green space. It's a beautiful apartment."
The right decision
Rick and Bobbi jumped right into community life after moving in. Now, they're enjoying activities like opera film showings, arts events, pickleball, line dancing, and mah-jongg groups.
"We love the restaurants too, including Stetsons and The Cookhouse," Bobbi says.
And though they waved goodbye to their house, they didn't have to part with a pool or a lake.
"Eagle's Trace has a big, beautiful lake with geese, ducks, and birds. It's a lovely place to walk," she says. "We are so glad we made the decision to move to Eagle's Trace!"
"Our team can help you map your journey to Eagle's Trace--with no pressure," explains David. "Exploring the community on your own, at your own pace, allows you to discern that Eagle's Trace is the best senior living option for you. That's the most important thing!"
