1. Crime Stoppers and Houston business leaders are increasing the reward to $30,000 for information leading to the suspect who shot 9-year-old Ashanti Grant in a road rage incident last week. Ashanti remains in critical condition, but is fighting "boldly." (KHOU 11)

2. A Houston police officer's unit was T-boned during a crash on Monday morning at the intersection of the Katy Freeway feeder road westbound at Antoine. The officer is doing okay and may have a knee injury, but was conscious when taken to the hospital. The driver who crashed into the police officer is not expected to be charged. (ABC 13)

3. The daughter of former Houston mayor Annise Parker, Marquitta Parker, married her longtime girlfriend, Elisabeth Pabst, in a historic backyard in Montrose. They credit the pandemic with bringing them closer together. (Houston Chronicle)

4. Six University of Houston professors have been named Senior Members of the National Academy of Inventors (NAI), the most UH faculty members to earn the honor in a single election year. They are represented in the fields of engineering, medicine, computer science and atmospheric science. (University of Houston)

5. Eat Drink HTX will be held from today through Monday, February 28th. Participating restaurants will offer prix fixe menus that make a donation to non-profit Cleverley Stone Foundation. The cost is $15 for lunch and brunch and $20 or $25 for dinner. Proceeds will benefit Houston Food Bank and Star of Hope. (CultureMap Houston)
