This Weekend In Houston: Oktoberfest, Pumpkin Patches And More
Finding something to do outside won't be a problem this weekend with events happening in a lot of Houston's area communities.

It’s Hallow-weekend in Houston and with Halloween and Dia de los Muertos just around the corner, this weekend is a great time to get out and enjoy the area pumpkin patches, haunted houses, or other awesome events in your neighborhood.
Here are a few cool events happening in your neck of the woods this weekend.
The Woodlands Oktoberfest and Truck or Treat| Saturday, 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.| Tickets| Looking for a ghoulishly good time? This community fall festival, sponsored by Woodlands Online and Inspire Productions, happens at Town Green Park. Bring the whole family to celebrate.

Zoo Boo | Saturday and Sunday 9-4 at the Houston Zoo| Tiny ghouls and goblins will be popping up at the Houston Zoo this weekend where they can enjoy a costume parade, trick or treating and have their photos taken in the pumpkin patch all for the cost of zoo admission.
Tomball Bluegrass Festival| Saturday 11:30-6| Free| It’s going to be a toe-tapping good time at the Tomball Depot for an afternoon of old-style Bluegrass music featuring David Davis & the Warrior River Boys, the Lone Star Bluegrass Band, Border Town Ramblers, and Aunt Erma's Fillin' Station. Jammin' area, kids zone, food, vendors and more.

Faith Christian Academy Fall Festival| 3519 Burke Road| Saturday 10-3| Free| It's the first ever fall festival at Faith Christian Academy. Bring the entire family and enjoy game booths, funnel cake, a super large slide, and a lot more.
Tricks & Treats Among the Trees| Jesse H. Jones Park| Saturday 3:30 - 7 p.m.|
Get ready for a family-friendly Halloween hoedown with free games, crafts, live critters, hayrides, and more! Enjoy a free trick-or-treat nature trail, a costume contest, and a critter storybook trail. Costumed trick-or-treaters are encouraged! For even more fun, tickets can be purchased for carnival games and face painting! All proceeds support the activities and programs at Jones Park. Don’t forget to bring a flashlight! Please note that entrance games close at 6:30 p.m. and treats end at dark or when supplies run out.
Dewberry Farm| Brookshire, TX | Saturday 10-6, and Sunday 11-6| Tickets| It’s just not the fall season without a trip to Dewberry Farm for the fall festival.
Old Time Christmas Tree Farm| Spring, TX | Friday 4-7, and Sat and Sun 10-7| Sure, it’s too early to think about Christmas, but there are plenty of pumpkins, hayrides and games happening at the Old Time Christmas Tree Farm in Soring. Admission is $5 per person.
Creepy Hollow Haunted House|Houston|Tickets| This ghoulish venue has been voted the scariest haunted house in Texas, and there's a chance you may not finish this place without being scared to death.
Screamworld|Houston| Tickets| A rite of passage in the Bayou City for anyone who wants to have the most terrifying night of their life.
Bike Houston Moonlight Ramble| Houston| Saturday|Register here| Don your coolest costume and join with hundreds of other bikers as they trek through the haunts of downtown Houston. The Moonlight Ramble is BikeHouston’s signature event and a fundraiser to support safe streets in Houston. Show up early for music, food and drinks, and a last-minute bike tune-up. Show us your wildest bike decorations and costumes! The party starts at 11:00 pm with music, beer from Saint Arnold, snacks and prizes for the best-illuminated bike, best costume and more.
7th Annual Flying Saucer Beer Feast| Sugar Land| Saturday 2-6:3- p.m.|Tickets| If you love beers, then you’ll love this. More than 50 breweries and 80 craft beers, all carefully selected by Saucer’s resident beer gurus. In addition, very rare and limited-release beers will be tapped one at time throughout the fest.
