The Houston Astros drafted the younger brothers of shortshop Carlos Correa and Alex Bregman on Wednesday

HOUSTON, TX — Just call them the Stros Bros, because, well it just seems to fit.
On Wednesday, The Houston Astros drafted J.C. Correa, the younger brother of shortstop Carlos Correa.
Then, the Stros did again, drafting A.J. Bregman, the younger brother of third baseman Alex Bregman.

It's not unusual for brothers to end up on the same major league baseball team.

In 2006, Jeff and Jared Weaver were both on the Los Angeles Angels, and of course Tony and Chris Gywnn were both members of the San Diego Padres.
Other notable baseball bros include, Jeremy and Jason Giambi in 2001-2001, and Ozzie and Jose Canseco in the 1990s, who all played on the Oakland A's.
Through the 60s, 70s, and early 80s, knuckle ballers Phil and Joe Neikro were spent some time on the Atlanta Braves.
There have been a lot of brother combos in baseball history, but never on the Houston Astros, and never two sets.
