1. Authorities are investigating after an officer fired their weapon while serving a felony warrant in the north Houston area. Details are unclear as to what led to the shooting, but police said there are no reports of injuries at this time. (ABC 13)
2. A popular wine bar called Envy Wine Room in Old Town Spring caught fire late Sunday night, according to the Spring Fire Department. It was upgraded to a 2-alarm fire and 85 firefighters were called to help put out the blaze. Firefighters say that the cause of the fire was an accidental ignition that started in the attic. (KHOU 11)
3. 17-year-old Marlon Robinson, who was injured during a brawl at a Katy park last week, has died, authorities say. Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez says a charge filed on a juvenile in connection to the case has been upgraded to murder. (Fox 26 Houston)
4. Gabriela's in Austin is coined as "the city's most Instagramable Mexican eatery" and is now coming over to Houston. The menu features Michoacán-inspired dishes including mole enchiladas as well as colorful cocktails. More expansion plans are also in the works. (CultureMap Houston)
5. Montrose bar Present Company has created a Euphoria-themed cocktail menu for February, named after the hit HBO show that is the talk of the internet. The show has been heavily critiqued for its depiction of minors participating in sex, violence, and drug use. Beverage director Rex Nielsen has downplayed any concerns about the impact of the show on drug-use though. (Eater Houston)
