Going To The Astros-Indians Game? Better Leave Early
Finding the best route to and the best parking spot at Minute Maid Park could make the baseball experience a little better.

HOUSTON, TX — The Houston Astros and the Cleveland Indians kick off the American League Division Series at Minute Maid Park at 1:05 p.m. Friday, and if you have tickets you should know how to get there.
It’s best to get an early start, and if you’re lucky enough to have Friday off you might consider taking a bus if you don’t want to drive. The Astros and Indians will be playing on a Friday when everyone in downtown is heading out for lunch, so traffic in downtown and along Interstate 45 South, and U.S. 59 near the GRB will be heavy.
However, if you love being behind the wheel then consider reserving your spot online ahead of the game with ParkWhiz.com. The app can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play and reserves your spot, even days ahead of time.

Fans can also reserve their spot close to the stadium with a parking pass from VividSeats.com. If you’ve found your parking spot, then settling in for the first pitch won’t be a problem.

Justin Verlander (16-9) gets the nod for the Astros against Corey Kluber (20-7) for the Tribe. The Astros, who won 103 regular season games, hold an edge, having defeated the Indians in the season series, and outscored the Tribe 45-29.

The Astros and Indians will play game two on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. before traveling to Cleveland for game three on Monday.
