Have You Seen Him? FBI Seeks Bank Robbing Construction Worker

A construction worker with a big smile and a gun robbed the Chase Bank on Westheimer Road on Wednesday. There's a reward for his arrest.

HOUSTON, TX — A man who the FBI says looked like he’d walked off a construction site, robbed a west Houston bank on Wednesday. The robbery happened at approximately 3:40 p.m., at the Chase Bank located at 13331 Westheimer Rd.

Witnesses said the man came into the bank wearing a hard hat, and an orange safety vest over a dark hoodie.
The man approached one of the tellers, pulled out a silver semi-automatic pistol and demanded money from the teller.

The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money and the man ran out of the bank and got into the passenger side of a black Chrysler 4-door sedan. No one was hurt during the robbery.

Witnesses describe the robber as a young black man in 20s, about 5-feet-7 dressed as a construction worker.

rime Stoppers of Houston is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the robber.
