Have You Seen Him? Police Looking For Suspect In Cypress Robbery
Police are looking for the man who robbed a Cricket store at gunpoint in August and got away with cash and cellphones.

CYPRESS, TX — The Harris County Sheriff's Office has released video surveillance of an aggravated robbery suspect who robbed a cell phone store at gunpoint in August.
Investigators were called to the Cricket Cellular Phone Store in the 6800 block of Fry Road at about 10:15 a.m. on Aug. 25 for a robbery in progress call.
The clerk told deputies that a young man came into the store a d asked about cell phone plans and services. The man left, but returned a short time later, and pulled out a chrome colored semiautomatic handgun from his waistband, pointed it at the clerk, and demanded money and cell phones.

Video surveillance shows the man pointing the gun at the clerk and coming around to take money fro,m the cash register. The man fled the store and rode off on a bicycle across the parking lot.

The robber is described as a black male, between 20 to 25-years-old, 5-feet-6 to 5-feet-9 inches tall, and weighing 150 to 160 pounds. He had a thin build with a short natural afro hair style.
Anyone with information is urged to call the HCSO Violent Crimes unit at 713-274-9210. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect in this case. Information may be reported by calling 713-222-TIPS (8477).
