Harris County Sheriff Charges Three with Capital Murder

The men where charged with capital murder in the shooting death of a local North Shore man during a robbery.

HOUSTON, TX -- Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide investigators have charged three men with capital murder in the shooting death of a local North Shore man during a robbery.

Investigators say that on April 05, Amir Yarbrough, Quincy Thomas and Tyre Hartley met up with Marquiet Davis, 29, in the parking lot of a Carl's Jr. restaurant located at 15236 Wallisville Rd. in east Harris County.

Davis was alone in a vehicle when Yarbrough and Thomas got into the car.

Investigstors said while they were in the car, Yarbrough shot Davis to death

Yarhrough and Thomas got out the car and ran to a white Nissan Sentra driven by Hartley, and fled the area.

EMS was called to the area but Davis was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators were able to obtain evidence and eyewitness statements that placed all three men at the murder scene.

All three men are currently in The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Detention Facility with a No Bond and a court date of April 20, in the 185th District Court.
