HCSO Child Abuse Unit Charges Man With Child Sexual Abuse
Ezequiel Garza has been charged with one count of continuous sexual abuse of a child for abusing his step daughter since the age of six.
From Harris County Sheriff's Office Child Abuse Unit: Harris County Sheriff’s Office Child Abuse Unit investigators have charged a 52-year-old man with one count of the continuous sexual abuse of a child. Investigators say that Ezequiel Garza, the step-father of the 17-year-old female victim, had been sexually abusing the female since she was 6 years old at their residence in north Harris County.
She made an outcry statement to a family member, and an initial investigation was conducted. Child Abuse Unit personnel interviewed Garza, were he admitted he had been touching her inappropriately for a number of years. Investigators presented their finding to the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, and they accepted the charge on Garza. Garza has since posted a $100,000 bond and is awaiting his next court appearance for May, 08, 2107 in Harris County District Court # 183 at 9:00am.For full details, view this message on the web.
