HCSO Deputies Arrest Two Men For Firearms and Drugs

Deputies responded to a disturbance in the 900 block of Cypress station drive on Thursday, November 3.

Harris County, TX - Harris County Sheriff’s Office District 1 patrol deputies have arrested and charged two men for felony possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance PG 2 and felon in possession of a weapon.

Deputies responded to a disturbance call to an apartment in the 900 block of Cypress station drive, last night Thursday, November 3, 2016 at around 5:15 p.m.

When deputies arrived at the apartment, the two suspects now identified as Keithdrick Austin (DOB 09/01/95) and Christopher Stevenson (DOB 01/04/95), were attempting to leave.

They smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from the open front door of the apartment, and also observed a large amount of marijuana on a table. Both men were detained at the scene.

A search of the apartment found several weapon’s including a loaded a AK47 rifle, a Glock 19 handgun and a Smith and Wesson SD 40 handgun.

Deputies also seized 1.5 Lbs. of marijuana, 10 bars of Xanax, 18 grams of hydrocodone and $2,100 dollars in currency. Numerous digital scales and packing material were also recovered.
