Homicide Investigators Need Public's Help In Locating Murder Suspects.
Harris County Sheriff's Office Homicide investigators are looking for two men wanted for a fatal stabbing on Christmas day.
HOUSTON, TX -- Homicide investigators with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two men who are wanted for the stabbing death of 41-year old Edwin Roman –Lozada on Dec., 25, at around 10:15 pm in north Harris County.
Investigators say that Luis Alaniz, 53, and his step-brother Victor Chavarria, 50, borrowed Roman-Lozada’s 2008 Dodge Ram pickup truck, but hadn't returned it to him as agreed.
Roman –Lozada and his wife were driving in the 16300 block of Stuebner Airline on Christmas evening, when they saw their truck and followed Alaniz and Chavarria to the parking lot of the Timber Canyon Apartments.

Roman –Lozada confronted Chavarria, who was driving the truck, and the two men began to fight.
Alaniz, who was sitting in the passenger side of the truck, got out of the truck and walked around to the driver’s side and allegedly stabbed Roman-Lozada several times with a knife.

Both men then ran from the area.
The victim’s wife drove him to Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital where he was pronounced dead by doctors later that evening.
Roman –Lozada had befriended the two men a few months earlier, after he tried to help them because they were homeless.
Roman –Lozada had let them stay at his residence on several occasions.
