3. Eat Drink HTX preview - State Fare and Epicure Café (fox26houston.com) — Houston diners can soon support the Houston Food Bank by enjoying fixed-price Eat Drink HTX menus from February 15–28, with details going live February 1. Created by the Cleverley Stone Foundation, Eat Drink HTX and Houston Restaurant Weeks have raised over $22 million to fight hunger across the Houston area, continuing Cleverley Stone’s mission to “Dine Out & Do Good.”
   

4. Hundreds protest ICE outside Houston City Hall after fatal shooting in Minneapolis (khou.com) — Hundreds of people gathered outside Houston City Hall to protest ICE and honor Renee Good, who was fatally shot by an ICE officer in Minneapolis. Local residents and organizers voiced fears that similar violence could occur in Houston and urged city leaders to push back against federal immigration enforcement while calling for ICE to be removed from communities nationwide.
