Thanksgiving 2019 Grocery Store Hours In Houston: HEB, Kroger

HOUSTON, TX — We all know the sinking feeling when after days of preparation, the perfect Thanksgiving feast is thrown into jeopardy because of a missing ingredient, whether it's seasoning for the mashed potatoes or ice cream to accompany the pie.

Thankfully, a number of grocery stores in the Houston area will have at least limited hours on Thanksgiving for any of your last minute needs.

Below are the major grocery stores in the area and their Thankgiving hours:

HEB

Wednesday, Nov. 27 (Day before Thanksgiving): Stores open regular hours

Thursday, Nov. 28 (Thanksgiving Day): Stores open from 6 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Walmart

Thursday, Nov. 28 (Thanksgiving Day): Open normal hours but hours may vary by location.

Walmart has stores in Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park and Pflugerville.

Kroger

Thursday, Nov. 28 (Thanksgiving Day): Stores open at their normal time and close at 4 p.m.

Kroger has a number of stores in the Houston area.

Sprouts Farmers Market

Thursday, Nov. 28 (Thanksgiving Day): Stores open from 7 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Trader Joe's

Thursday, Nov. 28 (Thanksgiving Day): Stores closed

Whole Foods

Store hours vary by location. Many stores open at 7 a.m. and close as early as 2 p.m.
