Husband Of School Bus Driver Found Stabbed To Death Questioned
Police want to know why Kaouta Domingue, 30, was stabbed on her way to work, and why her husband allegedly stole a Jeep and fled the scene.

HOUSTON, TX — Police are questioning a 25-year-old main in the stabbing death of his wife at about 5:30 Wednesday morning. Police said Everett Wright and his wife, 30-year-old Kaouta Domingue were arguing while she was driving to work.
Police alleged that Wright took out a knife and stabbed Domingue while she was behind the wheel of their car, causing her to run off the roadway into a ditch.
Police said that after the crash, Wright got out of the car, and carjacked the driver of a red Jeep, and fled the area. Police found the Jeep at about 10 a.m.

Domingue, who was known as Katie to her peers, had worked as a bus driver for the Houston Independent School District for seven years. Officials in HISD described her as a “gentle and kind spirit.”
