Homicide Investigators Seek Couple In April Murder
Investigators released video of a man and a woman they say were the last people to see 34-year-old Juan Barrios alive.
HOUSTON, TX — Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide investigators have released security video of a man and a woman they are calling persons of interest, and believe the couple may know something about a murder victim.
Investigators said in the early morning hours of Sunday, April 22, deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office noticed a Grey Volkswagen Jetta stopped in a moving lane of traffic near the 13400 block of North Lake Houston Parkway in north east Harris County.
When deputies approached the car, they discovered the body of a Hispanic man, later identified as Juan Barrios, 34, dead from multiple gunshot wounds.

Investigators need help in identifying a wristband the victim was wearing the night he was killed in an attempt to trace his last known whereabouts.
The wrist band is unique, and investigators feel that someone in the general public attended the same business where that type of band is issued.

Investigators are also trying to identify the Hispanic man in the baseball hat and the White/ Hispanic female that were last seen with the victim, and are seen in the video.
These persons of interest were in a 2015-2018 Cadillac Escalade.
