1. Midtown Houston will host its annual Art in the Park outdoor festival on Saturday, April 2, the organization announced. Visitors can artfully interact during one of the four free ArtJams, which are first-come-first-serve classes complete with supplies for creative types. (CultureMap Houston)

2. A man has been arrested and accused of fatally stabbing his wife inside a Greater Inwood apartment last week, according to the Houston Police Department. 51-year-old Francisco Jimenez has been charged with murder in the death of his wife, 35-year-old Yennis Olga Llanes Garcia. Jimenez remained jailed on a $500,000 bond as of Wednesday morning, according to Harris County court records. (The Leader)

3. Bellaire High School's head of their famed baseball program, Coach Nick Ozuna, is under a second investigation in three months. On Tuesday, HISD announced an investigation into events at the Bellaire baseball game against Westbury High School, where parents allege Bellaire players were exhibiting derogatory behavior in the dugout. (ABC 13)

4. A fight over a piece of 18th-century art has landed the Museum of Fine Arts Houston in federal court. The people trying to take the art are the grandsons of a German businessman who they say sold the art to Nazi leader Adolf Hitler's dealer under duress. The painting in question is the 'Marketplace at Pirna' by Bernardo Bellotto, circa 1764. (KHOU 11)

5. Deca Beer in Porter is celebrating the one-year anniversary of its grand opening April 10. Located at 25428 Loop 494, Ste. G, the brewery features 18 different brews, including 12 that are always kept on tap. (Community Impact Newspapers)
