Houston High School Football: Week 8 Scores And Highlights
Atascocita defeats Summer Creek, while Crosby falls Barbers Hill. See who else won Friday and keep up with Saturday's games.

HOUSTON, TX -- It's week eight of the high school football season and the playoff picture is beginning to become clear, while other teams are wishing the season were over sooner rather than later. In Thursday night action the Cy-Fair Bobcats continued their rebound after a two-game skid, blanking the Springwoods Tigers 70-0. The Tomball Memorial Wildcats continued their winning ways defeating Cy-Parks 56-14, while Milby fell once again to the Willowridge Eagles 47-6.
On Friday Tomball edged Magnolia in a wild one 50-49 in Tomball, while Atascocita stayed unbeaten and defeated district rival Summer Creek 36-35. The Pearland Oilers easily defeated Alief Hastings 41-7 at home, and Katy rolled over Cinco Ranch 70-17.

In other action Rosehill Christian blanked O'Connell Prep 54-0, Stratford lost to Cy-Falls 29-7, Dickinson defeated Clear Brook 52-10, Dekaney defeated district rival Spring 38-31, and Barbers Hill defeated Crosby 49-30.
There are a host of Saturday games on tap with Alvin taking on Clear Springs, and Fort Bend Travis hosting Clements at 1 p.m. At 6 p.m. Oak Ridge hosts Klein Cain and Cy-Creek hosts Northbrook.
