Here are the top five stories in Houston today:
1. Houston police confirm they've found a body in west Houston linked to the suspect accused of stabbing a police K-9. The victim has been identified as the suspect's father and an autopsy is underway to determine that cause of the death. 26-year-old Ryan Mitchell Smith is accused of stabbing police K-9 Nate during an arrest this past weekend on the 1600 block of Bass Street. Smith is also accused of carjacking and theft. (Houston Patch)

2. A national manhunt is underway for the suspect in the shooting death of Precinct 5 Cpl. Charles Galloway. A $60,000 reward is being offered for 51-year-old Oscar Rosales. Rosales has been charged with capital murder but is still on the run. Investigators believe he is in Houston. (KHOU 11)
3. A new Houston startup, Gbowo, is combining discounted bulk prices and delivery service into a business model. Product offerings include food and grocery, household essentials, home and kitchen, and personal care. The company launched in Houston and plans to expand to New York, New Jersey, Los Angeles, Chicago, and more cities this year. (CultureMap Houston)
4. Latino civil rights group, LULAC, is planning to file "a federal lawsuit challenging the at-large system in Houston as discriminatory and a violation of the voting rights act." The lawsuit could be filed as soon as this spring. Only one out of 16 of Houston's city council members is Hispanic, while 45% of the population is Hispanic Houstonians. (ABC 13)
5. Plans for a long-term Navigation Center in the Fifth Ward to help homeless residents are receiving pushback similar to what has already occurred in San Francisco. Residents question why the center is being put in their backyard. A vote is expected today. (Houston Chronicle)
