Rose’s husband, who witnessed the incident, apparently tried to stop the attack and told police the four women left with a man in a black Dodge Ram pickup, the Houston Chronicle reported.

Rose was taken to University Hospital in San Antonio, where she was treated for a broken nose, two black eyes, and a deep cut to the forehead that required the work of a plastic surgeon.
