Houston's Rooftop Cinema At BLVD Place Opens This Week
The best thing to happen in movies since the drive-in may be watching it on one of Houston's rooftops in the Galleria.

HOUSTON, TX — Houston’s first rooftop theater will unveil its big screen to customers this week. It will be lights, camera, action at the BLVD Place in Uptown when the first rooftop theater in Houston officially opens on Wednesday, Oct. 3.
The rooftop theater is located at 1700 Post Oak Blvd., near the Galleria, and is home to numerous upscale shops, boutiques and eateries, making it one of the trendiest spots in the Bayou City.
The first big screen flick will be the 1987 classic Dirty Dancing, which helped resurrect ballroom dancing in the late 1980s. Other movies scheduled for the BLVD Place include Back to the Future, Coming to America, Top Gun, and The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas.
