Houston's Super Feast To Serve 20,000 On Thanksgiving Day
The 40th Annual Super Feast will serve Thanksgiving dinner, and provide other services at the GRB on Thursday

HOUSTON — Thousands of hungry Houstonians are expected to take part in the 40th Annual Super Feast on Thanksgiving Day. The annual feast, which is put on by the Citywide Club, is held at the George R. Brown Convention Center on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Eve and brings thousands together to share holiday meals.
However, the annual event, which feeds and clothes the homeless and less fortunate in the Houston area, was nearly derailed because of funding concerns to lease the GRB, according to a KTRH report.
But the event will happen with doors opening at the GRB for Super Feast at 10 a.m.
