Houston's Trash Collection Schedule For Thanksgiving Weekend

HOUSTON - There's going to be plenty going on Thanksgiving Day, but it won't have anything to do with garbage collection.

Houston City Council Member Dave Martin is asking everyone in District E to be aware of the collection and facility schedule changes for Thanksgiving Day and the remaining week.

Thursday, Nov. 22, 2018 (Thanksgiving Day): CITY HOLIDAY. NO COLLECTION SERVICES. All facilities and services closed.

Friday, Nov. 23, 2018: Thursday's Garbage, Thursday's A-Week Curbside Recycling, Yard Waste and 4th Thursday's & 4th Friday's Tree Waste collected. Neighborhood Depositories, Westpark Recycling Center, Reuse Warehouse closed.

Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018: Friday's Garbage, Friday's A-week Curbside Recycling, Yard Waste collected. Neighborhood Depositories, Westpark Recycling Center and Reuse Warehouse are open.
