The storm is barely moving and is bringing down torrential rains. Here's the latest of what you need to know.

Hurricane Harvey, now Tropical Storm Harvey, has pummeled Texas for much of Saturday since it made its landfall on the state's coast Friday night, causing extensive damage and leaving at least one person dead and officials fear they will find more people deceased as they uncover debris. The storm has left thousands in the dark and while details are still unclear to the extent of property damage, photos and videos showed devastating scenes from the state. In the latest update from the National Hurricane Center, officials said the storm will produce anywhere between 15 to 25 inches of rain over the middle and upper Texas coast and some isolated storm totals might reach 40 inches. Other dangers from the storm include storm surges, swells, high winds and a few tornadoes.
Here's the latest on what you need to know about the storm, which the NHC is forecasting will produce rain through Thursday:
- One person was confirmed dead in Rockport, Texas when the person was trapped inside a home that caught fire, the Austin-American Statesman reported. About 12-14 people have been injured. Details on further fatalities and injuries are not clear.
- About 235,000 people are without power in Texas, according to the latest information from utility companies. You can check the latest on power outages from AEP and CenterPoint Energy.
- Rockport and Corpus Christi appear to be the hardest hit by the storm. Photos and videos showed devastating scenes.
- The NHC says the storm is "barely moving," meaning it will bring down torrential rains. Life-threatening flooding is expected a storm surge warning remains in effect for portions of the Texas coast.
- School Closings: In the Houston area, more than 20 area school districts canceled classes on both Monday and Friday, per the Houston Chronicle.
- A handful of locations have been added to the list of mandatory evacuations while several other places are under voluntary locations. You can see the full list from the governor's office.
