I-610, I-69 Construction To Close Highway This Weekend
All northbound lanes of I-610 from Southwest Freeway and Richmond Ave. will be closed Friday night to Sunday afternoon.
HOUSTON, TX — All northbound lanes of Interstate 610 West Loop between Interstate 69 Southwest Freeway and Richmond Ave. will be closed this weekend because of construction on the West Loop bridge over Southwest Freeway, the Texas Department of Transportation announced Wednesday.
Traffic will be detoured to the frontage road using the Westheimer exit, TxDOT said. The northbound lanes will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday.
In addition, two southbound lanes on West Loop at Southwest Freeway will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday to noon Sunday.

Police will help with traffic control, but drivers should expect delays and are recommended to use alternate routes if possible.
