HOUSTON, TX — It could have been a scene straight out of an action movie, but it happened outside of Minute Made Park. Officials said two Harris County Sheriff's deputies and six inmates were slightly injured when a pickup truck ran a red light and slammed into the side of the van.
Officials said the man driving the pickup was not injured and may have been running late to an appointment, when he ran the red light and t-boned the prison van
The deputies and all the inmates were able to get out of the van before it erupted in flames.
