Each animal can cost up to $45,000, but the payoff can be great. Since 2011, 195 highly skilled K9s donated by K9s4COPs to law enforcement agencies have helped recover over $250 million in contraband. The organization has gifted dogs to agencies across the U.S. in more than 39 states, and international police agencies.

The fundraising festivities will include a live demonstration of a K9 tasked with finding drugs hidden among the crowd. There will also be a presentation showing K9 obedience control.
