Lizzo To Play Revention Music Center In Houston

HOUSTON, TX — Red-hot R&B singer/rapper Lizzo is coming to Houston for an anticipated concert at Revention Music Center. Tickets are now on sale to see the show on Oct. 4 as part of the "Cuz I Love You Too Tour."

She puts the "siiing" in single. Hailing from Detroit, Lizzo is known for her empowering female anthems. Born Melissa Viviane Jefferson, Lizzo garnered mainstream success with the release of her third EP, "Cuz I Love You."

The album features hit singles "Juice" and "Tempo." The singer also released a deluxe version of the record with "Truth Hurts." The 2017 single became a viral sleeper hit after being featured in the Netflix film, "Someone Great," in 2019. In late August, "Truth Hurts" unseated "Old Town Road" as No. 1 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs charts.

Today, Lizzo is a hot ticket. She has also segued into acting, lending her voice to the animated film, "Ugly Dolls." The singer/actress will also star in "Hustlers," an upcoming comedy drama, alongside household names like Jennifer Lopez, Julia Styles, Keke Palmer, and Cardi B. Lizzo has also been able to channel her newfound fame to put a spotlight on LGBTQ rights.

With no signs of slowing down, Lizzo's "Cuz I Love You Too Tour" will hit nearly 30 U.S. cities in September and October. The tour kicks off Aug. 30 in Seattle, WA, and wraps in San Francisco on Oct. 28 before heading across the pond for performances across Europe.

Lizzo will come to Houston for an exciting night at Revention Music Center.
