Upon checking into The Ruby and depending on the preferred package, mothers and their babies, ranging in age from zero to eight weeks, can expect to receive 24/7 postnatal care from skilled nurses and postpartum specialists available to assist with recovery, C-Section healing and maternal well-being. With two nurses on staff at all times, along with a nursery attendant, mothers will experience dedicated attention throughout the duration of their stay and support with feeding, both breast and bottle, swaddling and soothing to allow mothers to rest. For breastfeeding mothers, an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant comes three days a week, or as needed, to assist mothers one-on-one or lead one of The Ruby’s educational classes available to guests. Mothers at The Ruby benefit from three nutritious meals per day, such as the Quinoa and Kale Power Bowl and Grilled Chicken with Sweet Potato Mash, designed to promote healing and boost milk supply. Mothers can also connect with other mothers in the Mother’s Lounge, where foot massages, tea service and educational classes take place, all included in The Ruby experience. With safety at the forefront of The Ruby, only nurses are able to access the nursery room and a camera is placed over each bassinet for mothers to check on their babies while resting separately in one of eight private rooms equipped with plush bedding, a hospital grade bassinet, access to room service and spa-like amenities.
