Man Accused Of Stabbing His Wife To Death Is Charged With Murder
Everett Wright, 25, is charged with the murder of his wife, 30-year-old Kaouta Domingue on Wednesday morning.

HOUSTON, TX — A man accused of stabbing his wife to death during a domestic fight has been charged with her murder. Houston Police charged 25-year-old Everett Wright with the murder of his wife, 30-year-old Kaouta Domingue on Wednesday morning.
Police said Kaouta, who worked as a bus driver for Houston ISD, was driving to work when she and Wright began arguing. Police said that Wright stabbed Kaouta during the argument, causing her to run off the roadway and crash in a ditch.
According to police, several witnesses saw a red Mercury Mystique in a ditch in the 6600 block of Fairway Drive at about 5:20 a.m. The witnesses told police they found Domingue severely injured in the driver's seat and called 911.

Police and EMS arrived, but Domingue died before help arrived. Witnesses reported seeing Wright getting out the the Mercury and carjacking a the driver of a red 2008 Jeep Liberty.

The red Jeep was recovered several hours later. Police Wright and brought him for questioning Wednesday night and he was formally charged with murder on Thursday morning in the 339th State District Court.
