Man Duct-Taped To Houston Street Sign
He lost a wager involving the Houston Rockets and the Golden State Warriors and received a suspended sentence.

HOUSTON, TX — Houstonians love their Rockets, and are never hesitant to put their money and pride on the basketball team led by James Harden. But one fan is probably wishing he had declined betting with a Golden State fan on Tuesday. The Houston franchise lost, 113-106, and the man was left hanging, literally.
The price he paid for his losing wager was being suspended from a yield sign near a busy intersection on Wallisville Road in Houston.
As seen in the video above, posted on Facebook, the losing bettor stood on a stool while two men wrapped tape around his torso. When the man received his suspended sentence the stool was removed and he was left hanging in all his glory.

According to reports, officers responded to the scene, but found that the man was already being extricated from his ignominious position by several individuals, one brandishing a knife.
“Drop the knife or I’ll Tase you,” one officer yelled, according to CBS affiliate KHOU.

The man dropped the knife, but quickly explained he was the hanging man's friend and was cutting him loose. The unfortunate Rockets fan was identified as Miguel Chavez. He was unharmed in the incident.
