Man Who Forced Baby Wipe Down Infant's Throat Is On The Run

On Sept. 15, 2017, Germany Xavier Harper forced a baby wipe down the throat of a 3-month-old infant and caused bodily injury to the baby.

HOUSTON, TX — Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Special Victims Division is trying to find Germany Xavier Harper Sr., who is wanted for Injury to Child - Serious Bodily Injury.

On Sept. 15, 2017, Harper forced a baby wipe down the throat of a 3-month-old infant.

The baby sustained acute respiratory failure due to trauma causing hypoxemia (low oxygen in the blood) and multiple lacerations to the back of the throat.

Harper told the victim’s mother that it was not him, but her 16-month-old child, who forced the wipe into the victim’s throat.

Charges were filed on Harper as a result of this incident.

Harper, who is known to visit friends on Coen Street in Arcola, is a black male, 27-years-old, approximately 5-feet 8-inches, 180 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.

He has tattoos on both arms and other areas of his body.
