Man Who Was Out On Bond Is Charged With Capital Murder
Justin Eugene Parker, 28, who was free on bond on an unrelated armed robbery charge, was arrested and charged with capital murder on Monday.

HOUSTON, TX -- Homicide detectives with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office have arrested and charged Justin Eugene Parker, 28, with capital murder.
On Thursday, May 31, at about 5 p.m., deputies were called out for a possible shooting at the Inwood Groves Apartments, located at 7302 Alabonson Road.

When deputies arrived, they discovered a man who'd been shot.
Investigators said they believe the victim was lured to the scene to buy auto parts and was killed during an armed robbery.

Homicide investigators said Parker tried to run from law enforcement on June 25 after they got a tip on where Parker was staying.
When investigators came to arrest Parker in the 4800 block of Jarmese, he tried to run and was arrested by deputies and members of the Houston Police Department.
Parker has a lengthy criminal record and at the time of his arrest, was out on bail for three counts of aggravated robbery with deadly weapon and one count of Aggravated Assault against a Public Servant.
He is in the Harris County Jail, and being held without bond.
