HOUSTON, TX — Jim "Mattress Mack" McIngvale and the Houston Astros are hoping some divine mojo will continue against the Atlanta Braves in Game 1 of the World Series.

The Houston businessman bought 55 tickets for nuns from the Dominican Sisters of Mary Immaculate Province to attend the World Series opener, which is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday at Minute Maid Park.

McIngvale previously paid for the nuns to attend Games 1 and 6 of the American League Championship Series against the Red Sox. Both games resulted in Astros victories, with the latter sending Houston to the World Series.
