1. Houston police officer Justin Weber was arrested and charged with five counts of possession of child pornography on Monday after a two-month investigation. Weber was booked into Harris County Jail and is being held on $100,000 bond, according to court records. (Houston Patch)
2. Houston Metro is adding 20 electric buses to its fleet in 2022 at the tune of $22 million. The buses are sleek and nearly indistinguishable from Metro's fleet of 1,300 buses. It will be the first electric fleet in Metro's history. (Laredo Morning Times)
3. Quarterback Tyrod Taylor, who played last season with the Houston Texans, intends to sign a two-year, $17 million deal with the New York Giants, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. The deal includes $8.5 million in guaranteed money. Before joining Houston, Taylor signed a two-year deal with the Los Angeles Chargers in 2019. (ABC 13)
4. A man was shot multiple times and killed in a shooting Tuesday night at 2100 Highway 6 in west Houston, according to the Houston Police Department. Police say they found a man laying outside of a hotel room with multiple gunshot wounds. An investigation is currently under way. (KHOU 11)
5. Houston police said a property owner shot and killed a burglary suspect on Tuesday night on the eastside. It happened at 7300 block of Canal Street, in Houston's Greater East End. HPD announced in a tweet that the man was pronounced dead at an area hospital. (KHOU 11)
