METRO Offers Free Bus Rides To Polling Locations
METRO is offering free rides to Houston area polling locations during the primary election.

HOUSTON, TX — Want to vote, but don't have a ride? No problem, METRO is stepping up to do teir part to ensure everyone can exercise their right to vote with free rides to polling places.
Voters can ride at no charge on METRORail, local buses, and METROLift paratransit services, aas long as they inform the inform bus operators or fare inspectors they are going to or returning from the polls .
METRO announced the service in February and offrered free rides to polling locations during the early voting period.

Polls open on Tuesday at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.
